With a strong interest in exploring the intersection of business practices and digital marketing, I am eager to learn about the roles of marketing plays in shaping business strategies and driving growth. Fatimata Ly, Franklin & Marshall College
Fatimata Ly is a New York City native and senior at Franklin & Marshall College (F&M), majoring in Government with a minor in Africana and Religious Studies. Her interests in international relations and migration led her to travel to Tunisia and Italy, where she studied politics, religion, migration, and Arabic. During her time there she conducted a research study on Irregular Migration to Europe. Her passion for public policy is displayed through her work being a campus Ambassador for Free the Facts, a non-partisan, non-profit that aims to educate young Americans on U.S. fiscal policy challenges. Fatimata plans to pursue a master’s in international relations and a career in the Foreign Service. Outside of school, she enjoys spending her time traveling and meeting new people.

Tianyao Wang, University of Rochester
Tianyao is a student at the University of Rochester, Simon Business School pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing Analytics. She is also passionate about data visualization and likes boxing, watching Anime, and traveling.

Croix Horsley, Vassar College
Croix is an education and economics double major at Vassar College in New York. Croix’s interests include educational equity and policy. Croix became interested in education after taking “Education and Opportunity in the US” during his first semester at Vassar. After learning about how public schools in America lack equity across the nation, Croix took an interest. Croix’s specific interest is inner city schools and how they affect black and other minority students. Croix wrote a research paper titled ” The Gates to Higher Education: Who Has the Keys? Who Does Not?”, in which he explored how higher education is so inaccessible to black students due to inequities in American public schools. Croix is also interested in economics and how economics plays such a key role in the American school system. Outside of school, Croix loves to swim, read and go out to dinner with friends. Croix is also a member of the Vassar College swimming and diving team.

Nathan Sommer, Bates College
Nate is a graduate of Bates College with a degree in Economics. During his time at Bates, he was captain of the varsity swim team and was recognized as an NCAA All-American. He is passionate about education research and will be leading the new Education Policy team at ACE this summer.

Alyssa Hoffecker, University of Pittsburgh
I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Digital Narrative and Interactive Design. As a young adult, I have worked on political campaigns as a member of their social media teams and also lead teams of high schoolers who also assisted in the campaigns. Outside of school, I run an Etsy shop where I create digital portraits! I have a passion for the outdoors and traveling.

Rosalinde Nebiolo, Tufts University
Rosalinde Nebiolo is an incoming Masters of Law and Diplomacy student at Tufts University. Her research interests include security studies as well as the role of global institutions and identity politics in conflict resolution. Previously, her research included Russian foreign policy, the implications of a Chinese world order, and a survey on regional terrorism in Southeast Asian countries. In her free time, Rosalinde enjoys reading books and experimenting with coffee.

My name is Luke Aminuddin and I am a Class of 2023 undergraduate student at the University of Virginia. I am majoring in Global Commerce with a double major in Politics. I have worked in the customer service industry in several positions including sales associate at Great Outdoor Provision Company as well as a host at Asado Taco & Wing Company. I am involved with the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and the Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Virginia. When I am not studying, working, or spending time with my clubs at UVA, I enjoy being active and playing sports, playing my trumpet, and spending time with my friends and family.

Karli Keller, Meredith College
Karli (She/Her/Hers) is originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania but now lives in Vero Beach, Florida. She is a recent graduate of Meredith College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. At Meredith, Karli was Chair of the Student Government Association Senate and was involved in both Model U.N and Moot Court. Through completing her Senior thesis, which was on gender, race, and their effect on perceptions of political candidates, she developed a passion for research. It also instilled in her a drive to make political education more accessible to voters. Karli is excited for the opportunity to fulfill both passions with ACE.

Maria Martinez, University of California-Davis
Maria Martinez is an incoming senior at UC Davis majoring in Political Science and minoring in Sociology. Originally from California’s Central Valley, Maria is especially interested in the different ways public policy impacts communities and the representative efficacy of governmental systems. Maria is a current honors thesis researcher in the UC Davis Political Science department and will be graduating in June 2022! Outside of academia, Maria has served as a board member of the University of California Student Association and is a current Munger, Tolles, & Olson LLP. pre-law fellow. In her free time, Maria creates Spotify playlists and explores the menus of different coffee shops.
