Alyssa is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (May 2025) and works as a software developer in Pittsburgh. She serves as Director of Digital Marketing at the Alliance for Civic Engagement, where she works with the marketing team and oversees the marketing internship program.

During her freshman year of college, Alyssa started an online business that gave her hands-on experience in marketing. This background, combined with her interest in unbiased news and political information, drew her to ACE’s mission of informing youth voters through nonpartisan education.

Prior to the 2024 election, Alyssa helped establish ACE’s 2024 Election team as a marketing intern, which focused on providing nonpartisan insights into candidates and election developments. This team has since evolved into the Current Events Team, continuing to offer balanced political analysis and news coverage to young voters.

Alyssa is interested in fostering respectful political discourse among young people and believes that accessible, nonpartisan information is important for encouraging informed civic engagement. She hopes to help create environments where her peers can engage with differing viewpoints in constructive conversations.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys traveling, spending time with dogs, and learning new things.
