Shane Johnson is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts: Medicine, Health, and Society with minors in English and Public Health. He has worked as a teaching assistant and as a Health Policy and Research Intern for the Institute for Medicaid Innovation, as well as a Technology Policy Fellow at ACE. This semester he is a Labor Policy Research Associate. He is interested in the ongoing conversations about the interplay of technology and work, as well as questions of whose labor is valued and how work should be compensated, particularly with respect to the ways employment shapes health outcomes.
In his free time, Shane likes to read speculative fiction, play JRPGs, or otherwise immerse himself in media where the big problems are solved with teamwork and the good guys don’t have to worry about funding.
