Gabrielle Pierce is an Education Policy Master’s Student at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. A proud third-generation public school teacher, she serves as an ELA Interventionist at a middle school in Lawrence, MA. In this role, she facilitates a rigorous learning environment for Special Education students, targeting development in vocabulary acquisition, grammar development, reading fluency and comprehension, and effective writing skills. Due to her professional experience, Gabrielle’s research focus centers on Special Education initiatives. She has dedicated her professional career to helping craft an education system where all students can thrive through crafting research-based, practical policies that shape the next generation of learners.
