Paola Simi is a recent graduate from UC Davis, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Born and raised in California, Paola is especially passionate about examining policies that affect underserved communities throughout the state. Paola received her Associate of Arts in Political Science with high honors at San Diego Miramar College before transferring to UC Davis as a Regents Scholar. Her interest in legal systems and political advocacy led her to participate in the UC Center Sacramento program, where she published a research project on disparities in resources for indigent defense services. Paola also previously interned with a prominent women-led lobbying firm in Sacramento and currently works as a legal assistant.
At UC Davis, Paola participated in the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, the Davis Pre-Law Society, and the Undergraduate Moot Court Brief Writing Team. In 2025, Paola also studied international relations in an intensive short-course program at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Outside the classroom, Paola enjoys going to farmers markets, volunteering, and spending quality time with family.
