Muskaan Bhayana is an incoming 3rd year undergraduate student at UC Davis double-majoring in Economics and Political Science. Her interest in housing and transportation policy research was sparked through her involvement with her university’s student government. Through the Associated Students of UC Davis, Muskaan served on the Housing and Transportation Advocacy Committee during her first year. This committee helped develop Muskaan’s passion for equitable and affordable housing for all. Through her experience with this committee, she also realized the importance of establishing free and accessible housing resources across college campuses. Muskaan continues to work within ASUCD as she serves as the Internal Affairs Commission Chairperson where she drafts, reviews, and helps pass bills within the student government. Eventually, she hopes to serve as a public interest lawyer or work in public finance. In her free time, Muskaan loves to watch rom-coms, cook meals from around the world, and go to concerts with her friends.
