Kate is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Political Science and Legal Studies with minors in Public Policy and Educational Policy Studies. She is deeply interested and passionate in finding solutions to complex international issues such as gender inequality, rising cost of living, and access to education. During her undergraduate career, Kate has had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. with fellow UW-Madison students to study the Psychology of Political Polarization and complete a residential program through the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and the Volcker Alliance to analyze global policy and participate in an International Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise. Furthermore, Kate is deeply involved with on-campus organizations including being a staff writer for the Wisconsin Undergraduate Law Review, a member of the Women's Pre-Law Society, and a volunteer and advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Outside of school, Kate loves to spend time with her family and friends, collect music, read, and write.
