Ginny Driscoll is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University studying Computer Science with intended minors in Economics and French. Through her work with Georgetown’s Scientific Research Journal and proximity to current political events in Washington, D.C., the intersection of technology and policy has become a central focus of her academic and professional interests. Ginny is particularly interested in how developments in Artificial Intelligence and network security can influence and shape policy decisions, especially during a time where so much of our government’s work is conducted online and digital threats have increased.
By working with ACE, Ginny hopes to make complex technologies both more accessible and comprehensible for the general public. In addition, she wishes to aid young voters in better understanding how the technological and political decisions happening in our government affect the world around them. Beyond school, Ginny enjoys exploring different neighborhoods in DC, going on long walks to the monuments, and trying out new restaurants with friends!
