Artemis-June is pursuing a Masters in Urban Planning at the University of Arizona. She attained a BS in Urban and Regional Development with a minor in Africana Studies from the UA in 2026. She currently co-leads Tucson for Everyone which is a local organization that advocates on issues of housing and transportation. This has given her firsthand experience in working directly with a diverse array of communities, advocates, experts, and policy makers at the state and local level to advance policies to lower housing costs and improve transportation options and safety.
She has previously interned for ACE as an Environmental Policy Research Fellow, writing on issues of permitting reform and agricultural water use. In the summer of 2025 she worked to gather and analyze data on the connection between the local built environment and urban heat. Her desire to create better communities has fueled her interest in understanding the nuances and intricacies of transportation funding, contemporary planning practices, and the changing field of development and housing policies.
