Francis Rogai is a Creative Writing and Professional & Civic Writing double major attending Susquehanna University, where he is a rising senior. His majors have taught him to appreciate literature in all forms as well as the ways that rhetoric and well-composed writing can be used to make change in social and professional spheres. Above all else, he believes that open communication fosters depolarization among those who hold contrasting beliefs. The experience in copywriting and copyediting which Francis has gained from working in Susquehanna’s Office of Marketing & Communications will aid him in his responsibilities as an ACE Editorial Fellow: namely, refining briefs to be clear, concise, and eye-opening for their readers.
Besides a future career in copywriting or copyediting, Francis hopes to use his majors to publish original works of short and novel-length fiction. When he isn’t spending free time with his friends and loved ones, Francis reads, works on his writing, and sketches out ideas for future creative projects across all genres.
