Dany is an upcoming sophomore at Whitman College in Washington, even though she is originally from Austin, Texas. She is a Politics major with a minor in Law, Culture and Humanities. At her time in school, she works with the Planned Parenthood Generation Action to promote reproductive health on academic campuses. She also works for her school’s newspaper, the Whitman Wire, to report news and current events in the community. When she’s not reading or studying, she also works at the library circulation desk and enjoys talking to the librarians about their cats. Dany also works in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion focused event planning and promotion. She has taken on the role of the Vice President of DEI within her sorority and also become a DEI Senator for her student government, the Associated Students of Whitman College. In her spare time, she likes to go hiking with friends or go antique shopping.
