My name is Ziqian Zheng and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with B.A. degrees in PPE and History. I’m passionate about studying the issues of international security from a comparative and historical perspective. I have been engaging in various research projects with the State Department and various think tanks, with topics ranging from public diplomacy campaign in Turkey and Sino-Indian border conflict. My history honors thesis “Reimagining the Communist World: China and the 1956 Polish-Hungarian Crises” had earned Highest Honors from the Department of History at the University of Michigan.
