Vedika Himatsingka is an undergraduate student at Pitzer College, majoring in Economics and Environmental Policy and Justice. She recently interned with WWF India and helped with research on Plastic Waste Management for Extended corporate producers’ responsibility. She also joined the Climate Reality network, led by former Vice President Al Gore, where she was trained in ways to become a Climate Leader. Her interests include climate change research, sustainability advocacy, environment policy research and reforms. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, listening to music, and watching movies.
She is excited to be a part of ACE and wants to bring an environmentally driven perspective to the team. She hopes to take away a better understanding of institutional political engagement and ways in which the youth can actively make a difference.
