Surabhi Subedi is a rising senior at Smith College doing a double major in Environmental Science and Policy and Government. She is an international student from Nepal. She is very passionate about social and environmental justice and is interested in looking at policies through an equity lens. She believes that policies are vital to addressing and mitigating inequity issues. At Smith College, Surabhi is a Senator and Co-Chair for the Sustainability Committee. She is very active in advocating students’ needs as well as promoting sustainability on campus. During her time working at ACE, she hopes to hone her communication-through-research skills. She is interested in researching and examining policies and writing briefs on them through a justice approach.
