Stella is a senior at Barnard College, majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. She is originally from Juneau, Alaska and some of her main political research interests include political polarization, democracy, rural politics, elections, and civil/voting rights. Previously, she has worked on campaigns and in political offices and nonprofits. She has known she wanted to study political science ever since the 2016 election, but has shifted from an international to a more domestic focus during her time in college. After graduation, she hopes to begin a career in policy or law and potentially attend law school later on to study civil rights or Constitutional law. In her free time, she plays club water polo and participates in a number of policy and law-related extracurriculars on campus.
