Sneha is currently a third year student at Grinnell College, Iowa. She is from Kathmandu, Nepal and is pursuing a degree in Economics with a Statistics concentration. Sneha feels very strongly against existing inequitable systems and institutions that perpetuate poverty and immobilize growth among the majority while benefiting a handful. She hopes to pursue law after Grinnell in order to advocate for equitable health and education policies in Nepal all the while working for or against global forces and frameworks. Sneha also leads an organization TKOP at Grinnell that partners with community organizations in order to provide mentorship to middle school aged youth with identities that are underrepresented in higher education institutions in order to uproot internalized societal stereotypes, introduce the kind of world prestigious colleges offer, increase graduation rates, and increase rates of college matriculation.
