Shriya Khadilkar

Shriya is now a second-year student at George Washington University studying International Affairs with a double major in Public Health. She chose to study international affairs because she was always interested in the political and cultural landscape of her early childhood. Shriya has met a wide range of people in her first year who are interested in all facets of global affairs. She picked Asian foreign policy as her starting point because she was certain she wanted to contribute to important research as well. As a region of Asia that is incredibly diverse and unique, Shriya, an Indian student, is primarily interested in how South Asia has influenced foreign policy.

Given her strong desire to elevate marginalized communities, she is also curious about lesser-known regions of Asia. With experience in writing courses and high level english classes as well as her college studies, she knew that her. interests in Asia could be amplified through words. Shriya likes to paint and bake sweets for her loved ones when she has free time. In addition, she is an expert in geography and enjoys playing online geography games.
