Sarah Gellman is from Buffalo, New York, and is currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan. Her passion for politics and public policy stems from discussions with her family and studying political theory. She is passionate about environmental activism and has been a leader and member of various organizations both in high school and college. Sarah advocates for science-based environmental policies. She would like to see the public become more aware of relevant research and the positions taken by public figures. Sarah hopes to hone her research skills and enhance her knowledge of environmental policy as a Summer Fellow at ACE. Furthermore, she aspires to convince people that they can truly make a difference in the world. In her free time, she enjoys playing the viola, piano, and ukulele, creative writing, playing soccer, and spending time with her family.
