Ruby (She/Her) is originally from Ridgefield, CT. She has recently graduated cum laude from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with B.A. in International Relations and Dance Theory & Performance with a minor in Social Justice. During her time at the Colleges, she received the Janet Seeley Performing Arts Scholarship for Dance. She has done extensive work with refugee and immigration non-profit organizations in NYC and CT as well as formal research projects about the human rights of asylees in Europe. Most of her interest in human rights & equity stem from her experiences working at a European NGO advocating for gender equality in Brussels, Belgium called Make Mothers Matter. She looks forward to a career working in the public interest after pursuing a law degree in the coming year. Outside of the workplace, she enjoys dancing, hiking, and podcasts.
