I am from Corpus Christi, Texas and I am currently an undergraduate student at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. I am double majoring in Political Science & Criminal Justice. After university, my goal is to go to law school and become a criminal defense attorney because I believe that everyone deserves a fair trial, and sometimes that is not given to the people. I thrive to have an impact on improving the country’s system for the low-income and the middle class because I believe empowering the working class is important. As not being a local in the Austin area, I take it as my responsibility to contribute to addressing the unaffordable housing and learn how to help those who are unhoused. Outside of academics, I like to help out with the community fridge down the street from my university which helps those who are experiencing food insecurity, and manage my own online shop that I started back in July of 2020.
