Paula (she/her) recently graduated from Emory University with a BA in both Psychology and English & Creative Writing. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she has always been drawn toward the connection between community building and advocacy. This interest led to her involvement in leadership within Latine organizations during her college career, encompassing outreach and presidential roles. During this time she also interned within Grupo Ferré Rangel’s corporate communications department, where she served as a copywriter, editor and translator, encompassing five different industries including media and social innovation. Now working as a Copy Editor with ACE, Paula hopes to support the organization in their vision to combat political polarization. Whenever she has free time, Paula likes to write short fiction stories, listen to her favorite artists on repeat, attempt to bake, and read magical realism.
