My name is Omowunmi Soremi. You may call me, Wunmi. I am a student of Public Policy and Management in the master’s degree program at Carnegie Mellon University. This summer, I will be interning with Alliance for Citizen Engagement (ACE) as Housing Policy Research Associate. Prior to these, I had received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Berea College in Kentucky. Thereafter, I worked as a Corps member for National Youth Service in Nigeria serving in higher education. I also worked in Finance as Principal Trader. My overall interest is in economic development which encapsulates all my other public policy interests including food security, housing, healthcare, education, and industry. My long-term career goal is to work in public sector consulting with focus on social infrastructure, policy formulation and implementation.
