Noy Lohr, a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, is an ambitious individual with a passion for Government and a minor in Business and Public Policy from the Mccombs School of Business. Her main focus lies in the tech policy sector of government relations, where she delves into the legality and ethics surrounding emerging technologies. Having previously worked at two high-tech companies, Noy’s interest in tech policy was sparked while serving on the SDR team. Her fascination with integrating law into the realm of high technology further solidified her dedication to this field.
Noy firmly believes that ethical considerations within regulatory policies directly impact the reliability of technologies such as AI. Her curiosity drives her to learn more about this domain as she embarks on her professional journey. In pursuit of expanding her knowledge and expertise, Noy plans to spend her summer engaged in research on these policy issues through the fellowship at ACE. Through this opportunity, she hopes to contribute to the conversation surrounding the ethical dilemmas arising in government regulatory policies.
