Nicol grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and Charlotte, North Carolina before attending university at the George Washington University. She just recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with concentrations in International Development and Environmental Studies. She also enjoyed completing her minors in Spanish and Geography. Nicol is passionate about human rights, especially as they pertain to immigration and refugee issues and she hopes to work in policy reform and advocacy in order to make the world a more equitable place and empower unheard voices. In her free time, Nicol loves to bake, read, bike and learn languages. Nicol is excited to contribute to ACE’s mission within the Foreign Policy: Latin America team!
