Nadra Fair, University of North Texas

Nadra Fair is a second-year graduate student at the University of North Texas, pursuing a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Justice Policy and Administration. During her time in graduate school, Nadra has focused on having an in-depth understanding of the criminal justice system, how broad the field is, and how it relates to other fields in the public service and social science area. She is passionate about advocating for victims of violent crimes, human rights, and social justice. She specifically is interested in addressing victims of domestic violence, sexual harassment and assault, and human trafficking. Nadra has been a research fellow for DHS’ H.S. Power Program, interning with the Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, interned with The Advocacy Academy, Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority’s Center for Justice Research and Evaluation, and Orion Policy Institute. She regularly volunteers with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and The Turning Point Rape Crisis Center. During her free time, she enjoys listening to Jazz, R&B, and Gospel music, listening to podcasts, walking on different trails, and reading.
