Max Lerner is a junior at Brandeis University, with a Politic major and minors in Legal Studies, Environmental Studies, and Social Justice and Social Policy. He serves on his university’s Sustainability Fund Board, an administrative board that allocates money for student proposals for on-campus sustainability projects. He sporadically writes opinion pieces for the Brandeis student newspaper, generally on policy and political happenings, and hopes to use his interests to advocate for environmentally sustainable policy in his career. He became a Summer Fellow in order to help raise public knowledge about environmental issues, which is often misunderstood or ignored due to its scientific and data-driven nature. In his spare time, Max enjoys baking, ice skating, listening to music, and attempting to cook.
