My name is Leshan Loonena I am a senior at the College of Idaho majoring in International Political Economy and minoring in French, Religious Studies and Environmental Science. I am an international student from Nairobi, Kenya and have always had an interest in politics. However, it was in college when I realised that I have a passion for politics and policymaking, especially foreign policy, and international development. Throughout high school, I would regularly attend Model of the United Nations and see how it is possible for nations to come together to create a framework for the improvement of life through the Millennium and Sustainable development goals made me realise the importance of coming together to find solutions to current issues this is why I believe in organisations like ACE, which allow people to come together to make a change, collaborating can also help one learn more about themselves by discovering their strengths and weaknesses. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and series, socialising with friends, visiting new places and discovering new restaurants. I also enjoy getting to meet new people.
