Lauren Zou is currently a student at The Johns Hopkins University, pursuing a B.A. in International Studies and Economics. She has previously worked as a communications intern for Democracy International, composing social media outreach efforts, analyzing competitors, and writing research briefs. She also attended the 2021 Summer Honors Program, participating in Dr. Oriana Skylar Mastro’s class on China’s Military and the Balance of Power in Asia. On campus, Lauren runs an international affairs podcast with fellow students, the Hopkins Podcast on Foreign Affairs, and competes in Johns Hopkins Mock Trial as a captain. She is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys baking, working out, and playing golf.
