Kaleigh is an undergraduate student at The George Washington University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. After discovering the perfect intersection between her passion for criminal justice and journalism, she has already written articles for the DC Police beat in her advanced news writing and reporting course. Kaleigh is Assistant Editor in Chief for The GW Local, a student life blog, where she has written and edited articles for the news, opinion, lifestyle and academics section. She is eager to apply her skills in content creation, news writing, and criminal law and procedure, to the legal and news related industries she aspires to work in. Kaleigh will continue to utilize what she has learned from her past experience as a Communications Associate for Goodworld, an intern for Superior Court Judge Leland Davis III, and interning for Congressman John Larson, in order to effectively produce nonpartisan, non-bias, research for the Human Rights and Equality team at ACE!
