Justin Gibbs-Poe is a senior at Emory University committed to housing justice, community-building, healing justice, and transformative justice. Justin is currently a pre-law student, intersectional feminist, activist, and yoga instructor that has an affinity for legal advocacy, public service, and mutual aid work. He has had numerous experiences in community building as president and co-founder of his club Oxford Men of Color and internship with Emory’s Black Student Union. His passion for healing justice and yoga has led him down the path of teaching yoga classes on his college campus and hosting workshops at activist conferences. Through Food4Lives and Sol Underground, two mutual aid organizations in Atlanta, Justin has had the opportunity to help struggling communities in need of both political and physical aid.
