Juliana Martinez (She/Her) is a rising junior at Emory University pursuing degrees in International Studies and Cultural Anthropology with a concentration in Power, Identity, and Social Justice. She is currently on the Pre-Law track and hopes to hone her research skills for future pursuits in foreign policy and the legal field. Additionally, through her undergraduate coursework and research with the Emory global history department, she has developed a deep interest in foreign affairs, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, peace and conflict studies, and social equity.

This summer, she is also assisting Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney’s re-election campaign and is volunteering as an ESL tutor in Atlanta. Through past experience with Spanish to English translation in classrooms, she is passionate about overcoming language barriers in educational spaces and making information readily accessible.

In her free time, she enjoys creating Spotify playlists, reading and writing fiction, watching sitcoms, and cooking.
