João (he/him) is a junior at Seattle University. He is working towards a double major in Political Science and International Studies, as well as a minor in Psychology. He is passionate about international law, foreign affairs, social equity, and global politics. He is planning on attending law school in 2022 and is extremely interested in human rights law.
João has experience in International political research, especially in Latin American politics and the political economy of Africa. He is interested in expanding his knowledge on other regions of the world such as Asia and learning the role each region plays in the International arena.
