Jack Robinson is a recent graduate of Denison University where he double majored in Political Science and Global Commerce with a focus in the Middle East and North Africa. Jack recently became a Student Fellow with ACE and hopes to contribute to ACE’s mission to create a more democratically engaged and informed citizenry. Outside of ACE, Jack is a Legal Assistant for Thompson, Dunlap, & Heydinger, Ltd, a law firm in Bellefontaine, OH. Additionally, Jack has been taking classes through the Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center following graduation in an effort to continue his study of Arabic. Jack’s overall goal is to continue studying languages along with pursuing a law degree centered on immigration/refugee law. He hopes to work in the immigration system where he can be an advocate for those who have been ignored and forgotten by the current system. In his free time, Jack enjoys listening to all kinds of music, watching the Cleveland Browns, and practicing his Portuguese and Arabic skills.
