Isaiah Wilson (they/he) was born and raised in rural southeastern North Carolina. They are a sophomore Sociology major with a concentration in Family & Gender at the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, the nation’s only school for Black men. Isaiah joined ACE in efforts to be more actively engaged in politics by to advocating for marginalized communities, along with publishing research surrounding racial equality. Their research interests include prison abolition and gender construction. They have worked as an Americorps student mentor along with various community service ventures. Music has been a huge part of their family’s history, and they currently serve as a member and Co-Secretary of the Morehouse College Glee Club. Other than singing, their hobbies include reading, cooking, and thrifting.
