Isabella Garcia (she/her) is a junior Brennan Family Scholar at the University of Notre Dame studying political science, Arabic, and theology. When not working as an ACE Student Fellow, Isabella serves as a Research Assistant in Notre Dame’s American Politics Research Lab, VP of her improv comedy team, communications director of Women in International Security (ND), volunteers as a college admissions mentor for low-income students, and serves as a Dean’s Fellow at Notre Dame. Isabella joined ACE because she believes knowledge is central to a truly democratic society and serves on the Human Rights & Equality Research Team because she understands and strives to champion the value of human dignity. Outside of her passion for research, Isabella can frequently be found workshopping jokes, completing crosswords, and drinking a shocking amount of espresso. She hopes to attend law school after graduation and continue her advocacy for Human Rights by pursuing a career in public interest.
