Fanglin is a senior Philosophy and Linguistics major with a Law and Society minor who is currently attending the University of Maryland. Fanglin first became interested in policy during his time in high school where he participated and became state champion in Public Forum debate competitions. Since then, Fanglin has honed his knowledge of the field through his undergraduate studies and also participated in many volunteer programs with humanitarian organizations such as the International Rescue Committee, Solutions in Hometown Connections, and Home Works. Fanglin plans on going into law school after he completes his undergraduate studies and eventually becoming an attorney. Fanglin is passionate about serving others and fostering a better future for human society.

When Fanglin is not busy, he enjoys spending time with friends and meeting new people. Fanglin also enjoys listening to and occasionally writing his own music as well as playing some of his favorite childhood video games.
