Fabrice Leveque is a recent graduate from Brandeis University, where he studied Cultural Anthropology, History, and Legal Studies. After failing a Psychology course in his first semester, his Academic Advisor recommended attending an Anthropology lecture to see whether or not it would pique his interest. He has been infatuated with the subject ever since. Fabrice spent the rest of his time at Brandeis taking courses from Journalism, History, and International Global Studies to Sociology, Philosophy, and African and African American Studies, alongside earning a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. His interests stem from the long-term effects of immense militarization across the globe, the presence of Cultural Hegemony, and its production of Structural violence within capitalist regimes. Fabrice strove to understand how one is the product of their environment through identifying what factors play a role in our development and why these factors exist. His mentor and Professor, Elizabeth Ferry, was a huge inspiration and contributed to his research by exposing him to Economic and Political Theorists, Historians, and Sociologists. Fabrice enjoys writing spoken word, theory, and lyrics in his free time as side projects. He would consider himself a “foodie” who is always looking for new places to eat, new recipes to try or even cooking for his family and friends.
