Emma Rial (she/her/hers) is originally from North Kingstown, Rhode Island and currently studies sociology at Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts. After undergrad, Emma wants to pursue a career in public policy or community advocacy. She is currently interning as a caseworker for Amherst Community Connections, a nonprofit social service organization that provides case management, referrals, outreach, and advocacy for vulnerable individuals and families in the region. She also tutors second graders in a Providence public school. Emma is passionate about supporting grass-roots activism and mental health advocacy outside of academics and work. In her free time, Emma enjoys cooking, hiking, and going to the beach.
