Emily Anderson is a Master of Urban and Regional Planning student at the University of Minnesota studying housing and community development policy. Anderson completed her B.S. in Urban Studies and Political Science in 2020, also at the University of Minnesota. Emily has previous work experience in almost every level of government and is passionate about building thriving and equitable communities, creating solutions for urban policy issues, and helping people access safe, quality, affordable housing. She is excited to be a Summer Fellow with ACE to help voters learn about the impact of housing policy in their lives and the lives of their fellow citizens. The people in her life are just excited that she has a new outlet for her one-woman campaign of housing policy education. Outside of work and academics, Emily is an avid reader, Spotify playlist maker, and proud Minnesotan.
