Connie Lin is a recent graduate from Brown University with a concentration in economics. In the next academic year, she will be pursuing a Master of Public Health with a concentration in health services at Brown. Through her coursework and past internship experience, she became interested in payment and delivery reform, health economics, and value-based care. With public health’s ever-changing landscape and the polarized political climate, Connie believes it is crucial to disseminate nonpartisan evidence-based resources for audiences to make their own informed decisions and stances on topics. Furthermore, improving the health of vulnerable populations requires an unbiased analysis of our current healthcare system to close health disparity gaps and allow stakeholders to make adequate policy decisions. For these reasons, Connie hopes to learn and contribute to public health through Alliance for Citizen Engagement’s (ACE) Summer Fellowship.
