Christine Duran is an undergraduate student at the University of Chicago majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Russian and East European Studies. She is an Odyssey Scholar and is involved in the Public Policy Leaders Program. Christine developed a deep interest in foreign affairs as she finds that it often entails solving complex problems between different cultures and people. She has interned for Congressman Seth Moulton and her local state representative, which allowed her to tackle various research projects related to casework. After UChicago, Christine hopes to have a career in the Foreign Service. In her free time, she enjoys practicing her Russian, reading, and staying active.
