Chloe Nguyen (she/her) is a current undergraduate student at Pace University located in Manhattan, New York. She is pursuing a major in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. She is deeply interested to enhancing health services through legal advocacy that provide pregnant women safety measures that are deemed necessary and desired. Coming from a family of family of doctors, particularly her mother, an OBGYN, Chloe has always been immersed in women’s health issues giving her a great understanding of the needs of both healthcare providers and patients. Her research interests include women’s health policies, gender studies, and public health (with a specific focus on substance use). Chloe’s most recent research project examines the experiences of female military members in the U.S. in relation to current abortion laws. This summer, she will continue to develop her research in Public Health, concentrating on the healthcare challenges faced by underprivileged pregnant women. In her free time, Chloe enjoys ballet classes, spending time with her two dogs, and cooking.
