Callie Rabinovitz is a rising sophomore at Brown University intending to concentrate in environmental studies. She is particularly interested in studying the intersections of racial justice and environmental justice. This past year during her academic leave, Callie interned for The New Fashion Initiative (TNFI), an organization dedicated to environmental reform in the fashion industry. As part of her work for the organization, Callie ran TNFI’s policy briefs series in which she researched and completed write-ups on a series of policies affecting the fashion and textile industries. Outside of her policy work Callie manages communications for several organizations including Project Matriarchs, a non-profit providing virtual childcare support to working mothers, and She’s Birdie, a personal safety alarm start-up. On campus, Callie is a co-president of Brown University’s Jews of Color club.
