Aisha Abdallah is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and is deeply interested in healthcare and equity. She is passionate about connections between science, medicine, and policy, and how these fields impact everyday people. Aisha has worked as a home health aide, providing direct support to patients while experiencing insights into the challenges many people face within the healthcare industry. She also interned at the Masakhane Center, where she learned about reproductive justice and the importance of equitable access to resources for underserved communities. Her academic interests include healthcare access, laboratory research, and reproductive health. Aisha hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant to expand her knowledge in patient care experience, scientific research, community health, and equitable care. Outside of her academic and professional goals, she enjoys traveling, biking, photography, and cooking, and she looks forward to continuing her journey in the healthcare field.
