Abigail Gaetz is a freshman at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. She is pursuing a degree in IA with a concentration in conflict resolution. Native to Providence, Rhode Island, she attended the Lincoln School for Girls for middle and high school. Before attending GW, she took a year off from school to work and travel, which reinforced her passion for current events. In her free time, Abigail loves to ski, hike, and paddleboard.
Abigail joined ACE to dive deeper into understanding the role technology plays in current events. As information technology develops at an exponential rate, she feels it is necessary to stay informed on the potential harms they pose to the global community, while also acknowledging the ways these tools can strengthen our development.
