Olivia Scott is a pre-medical student at the University of Pennsylvania studying neuroscience. She is also a certified EMT, which has given her firsthand experience in patient care and reinforced her commitment to medicine and policy. Olivia is interested in how innovation and technology can improve healthcare delivery and accessibility, as well as the policies that guide their implementation. She joined ACE to explore technology policy while contributing to the organization’s mission of promoting informed, democratic participation.
Her research experiences include work at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Mitochondrial Medicine Program and in the Brain Gene Development Lab, where she contributes to projects using brain MRIs to study neuropsychiatric disorders. These roles have strengthened her interest in translational science and in understanding how research informs healthcare systems.
At ACE, Olivia is the team lead in technology policy, where she stays engaged in policy updates and discussions shaping the future of innovation.
