Leonardo is an incoming sophomore at Columbia University majoring in Economics-Political Science. Originally from Laredo, Texas, he is a former intern at the U.S. House of Representatives and Guzman Law Firm. Directly serving constituents, synthesizing large amounts of information, and thoroughly conducting policy and legal research deepened his passion for the legal and political fields. Additionally, his involvement in Columbia University’s BlackGen Capital chapter and the Columbia University Wealth Management Club has sparked an interest in the finance and business sectors. In the future, Leonardo hopes to pursue a career where his passions for business and law/politics intersect. Outside of the classroom and workplace, Leonardo enjoys running, working out, and cheering for Real Madrid CF.
