Lauren Oster is a recent graduate Johns Hopkins University and incoming MSPH student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her academic and professional interests lie in health systems, sexual and reproductive healthcare, and harm reduction. Lauren has experience in several sectors of public health and has previously interned with Ramsey County Community Environmental Health in her home state of Minnesota and with MyFamilyGP, a clinic focused on serving transgender patients in Cape Town, South Africa. At JHU, Lauren is involved in programs that connect students to local nonprofits in Baltimore and advocates for improved sexual and reproductive health services for students. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Lauren enjoys hiking, thrifting, and trying out new coffee shops.
