Clara Flores is a rising junior at Boston University, where she studies International Relations with a concentration in International Economics, Business, and Politics, along with a minor in Economics. She plans to pursue a career in law, with academic interests shaped by her multicultural Japanese-Peruvian background. At BU, Clara is Head Delegate of their Model United Nations team, where she competes across the nation, engaging with global policy issues through diplomatic simulation and debate.
Her academic and professional interests include immigration policy, with particular attention to global movement, cultural exchange, and the legal frameworks that shape migration and access to justice. Through ACE, Clara aims to build on her experience in student publications and local non-profits by working alongside underserved communities and contributing to efforts that make rapidly evolving immigration policies more understandable and accessible.
