Cat Guerin, Smith College

Caterina is a non-traditional Ada Comstock Scholar at Smith College, majoring in Government with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Korean. Before attending Smith College, she graduated from HCC with an Associate’s in Theater, which has shaped her communication and public speaking style. While attending school, she has worked various full-time jobs, ranging from a Starbucks manager to a Behavioral Resource Technician in the Emergency Department. Currently, she is a waitress and works the IT Help Desk at her school’s library while studying. In the future, she aims to pursue human rights monitoring and policy advocacy at the UN or in NGOs, with a particular interest in North Korean immigration and human rights.
